Stone Securities is instituting a new charity initiative. The program is simple. Institutional customers can specify “trades for charity”. Stone Securities will contribute 25% of our commissions on those trades to the charity or charities selected by the customer. The program will be limited to hard dollar trades. Stone Securities has functioned as a broker dealer and floor broker on the Boston Stock Exchange since 1991. Our traders have an average of over 15 years of trading floor experience. We have electronic access to all market centers and 9 liquidity pools. We have executed for all the major wire houses because we have earned their trust and respect. We have executed for hedge funds and money managers because we have beat the competition in execution quality and market impact mitigation. We believe it is time to do more and we hope that this initiative will stimulate more giving from broker dealers, not just holiday window dressing. Here and now there is an opportunity for those in the financial community to make a real contribution to help cure diseases, invest in energy independence, save species from extinction, grant a wish to a terminal patient, to make a real difference. This program will run continuously, every business day, all year. Our goal is to create ongoing charitable relationships with our customers and with the charities. We will contribute your commission dollars to the charity of your choice from our reviewed list. We will make our contributions monthly and we will provide a comprehensive quarterly report of contributions to all customers. The quarterly report will detail the contributions made relative to commissions and the impact of those contributions at the charities. We will also provide an audited annual report with acknowledgement documentation from all the charities involved. Please use the links provided to review the charity list. There is no shortage of good causes. We have selected a group of charities that are leaders in there respective fields with track records of accomplishment. Our goal is to maximize impact in the most pressing areas of need and we expect the same of the charities we contribute to, as well. We will continually review the list to ensure the efficiently and effectiveness of these programs.
